    New wheel/tire combo looks great. Look forward to hearing how they do at the track. I like M&H tires, although I have only run their full slicks on the GLH, I think your choice will be good for your application.

    Hey Tom, I love the videos! But I have a question. I notice that you seem to like wrapping your down pipes in heat wrap, and I’m wondering what benefits you’ve seen from this? And if it would be benifical to my car. It’s a 1.8t jetta, with 3inch catless down pipe. Thanks

      Hi Josh! Thank you for the kind words, I definitely appreciate it! The main reason I heat wrap my turbo downpipes is to keep the radiant heat to a minimum, since I’m usually using larger than stock piping and there are lots of parts nearby that are prone to heat damage like alternators, wiring harnesses, etc. I can’t add links in these comments, but do a quick google search on exhaust wrap benefits. You’ll see there are some drawbacks as well that you need to be aware of. Good luck!
